At the lack of a better title. I've been busy all day getting my 'puter back in order again after reinstalling Windows. Everything is working fine except for my graphics card. I installed steam, got Half Life 2: Episode One back, but it wouldn't get beyond the loading screen. It doesn't error out either, it just prompts me back to my desktop.
Then I noticed DxDiag has similar problems, I simply can't run the tests. I included the report as an attachment so you can check out my setup and the error message yourself. I have no idea what I have done wrong. According
Omega Drivers.net their latest driver still supports my Radeon 9800xt, so I shouldn't have anything to worry about. Likewise, DirectX 9.0c is working too.
I don't have much to go on. It has just generally been too long since I had to deal with anything of this nature, so I might be forgetting something fairly simple. I'm open to suggestions at this point.
