As a shooter this game reminds me a lot of Serious Sam. I'm not entirely sure if that's a good thing. I didn't like Serious Sam very much, but many people loved it. The melee combat doesn't connect well at all. Unless I missed out on some kind of targeting button (ala Fable, to home in and strafe around creatures accurately), I think people will avoid it.

As for the graphics, the GUI looked pretty, though a bit complicated. I was a bit surprised at the many low quality character and monster models, I'll have to make a point of it to see some player-made screenshots later, maybe something was wrong with my hardware settings. The 'dungeons' have very simplified, repetitive geometry. But I have a sneaky suspicion that will somehow make Diablo fans like this game more. The outdoor street areas looked interesting, but they are everywhere the same kind of interesting as far as I've been able to tell.

I'm can't be overly positive or negative about this game. That would be like asking me how I feel about strategy games or Japanese dating sims. Just not my cup of tea. Oh well. Look at me, still talking when there's science to do.
