| It's really cost-prohibitive to send a $40 game overseas; it would almost be cheaper to buy a copy locally. Based on previous experience, I think the cheapest shipping method is right around $20 to Europe with no way to track it and at least a week or two in transit (if it ever gets there). To send it with tracking information and have it arrive in a reasonable amount of time is $30+, depending on location. On top of that, there's also a lot of extra paperwork to do.
I'd like to open our contests up worldwide, but unfortunately it's unrealistic at the moment. Maybe in the future a publisher will just send us gift codes to grab the game for free via digital download. That would probably be the best way to do it. |
