Sneak can help you pick pockets, however it's even easier if you "use" a few bottles of alcohol on your victim to reduce their perception to one. Sneak also helps you take stuff from shelves without getting caught, but again it's easier if you "use" a few bottles of alcohol on any nearby observers first.
But to me Sneak is most useful when you're going into combat with a map full of enemies. If you're in Sneak mode only those nearby will join the attack. With a high enough sneak you can snipe everyone. |
