| 1. Hospital - not pleasant, but not big league stuff
2. Ocean House - makes me jump at times - I play it with the sound off and it is nowhere near as startling.
3. graveyard/mausoleum - made me jittery, but routine once you've been through a couple of times
4. nossie tunnels - a bit peculiar, not too bad
5. Kings - the house still makes me jump, even though I am expecting it.
TBH none of them is as scary as the Orphanage in Thief III - Thief has scarier levels in every game - there is the madness, the undead and the risk that your character will be killed with hardly a chance to get away. The undead Hammerites and the flaky tree-huggers are pretty creepy. ocean house has some of the same fear-factor, but because VtM is an action game in which the PC has a chance in any toe-to-toe fight, it is less scary than Thief where the PC is more vulnerable.
sound has a major influence on the fear level as it what is left when there is no light.
