Precisely the point. Your paladin suddenly unlearns skills and learns new skills to better suit him in the act that he's currently in without any cost of anything. That's cheating, making the game suit you. TQ even added in Skill Trainers to allow you to unlearn skills for a price, and by the third act, 45,000 gold per skill isn't a lot in reality. And that's the maximum, starting price is actually 200.
