If you're after a specific item, I would just go for the high level bosses/areas. Their drop rates will get you something.
I recall trying for Vampire Gaze back in 2002. (v1.09) Then it dropped from an armour rack in act 2 nightmare.
It's all luck, within reason. You'll never find a specific item by specifically killing a monster over and over. |
