| It would not surprise me if Vista has something to do with it.. though if you can run the original game on Vista.... theoretically the expansions should work too (I think, though I'm no techie).
This is probably a stupid question, but do you have the correct install order and official patch?
You need to install the GOTY as follows:
*Morrowind
*Tribunal
*Bloodmoon
*Bloodmoon Patch (you do not need the MW and Trib patches, just the BM one)
