| It's all done in a very roleplaying manner. So you speak to Dak'kon and mention wishing to continue on one of two paths, the warrior or the mage; but you use a more elaborate, round about way of saying this. And Annah does as much for Thief and Warrior.
Note, you can only get the mage option after you've run a series of mini-quests.
