Actually, unless you went through and scanned each disk to determine which one had the original executable, I think it would be hard to tell. None of them are labelled
in any way other than
disk one, disk two and disk three. So in essence the original DS is included with the expansion installation as a whole...
not as a seperate option. I own two copies of the game for two seperate computers...finally got my boyfriend to play multiplayer.
In fact, if you have original DS installed, when you install the expansion it overwrites your original installation. But still, I think the best way would be to call or email Amazon (or whomever you are going to buy the game from) and just ask them straight out.
And don't forget you can install mods!
