| Great idea with the videos, but are you serious with your "recommended starter parties" ? The games are unplayable without a thief or ninja for opening chests and closed doors, using your parties would lead to frustration.
I'd add a dwarf ninja to the parties, maybe a robber for WoX because of the thief throne in CoX and the prince book in DSoX.
My personal opinion is that you underappreciate luck, it's extremely useful during the game and can decide if the boss monsters do enough damage through your shield spells to eradicate your characters or not.
While speed is also very important, I wouldn't bother giving high con to a half-orc barbarian on the other hand, when he gets near unconsciousness the mage has long died enforcing a reload or other painful measures, I also wouldn't give ultra high int or cha for secondary casters and replace at least one of the elves with a human for better resistances and less dying. |
