| So what exactly are your computer specifications, cause even though you might be able to play other games doesn't mean you can play all the games with near identical requirements....Especially since VTM is infamous for it's memory lag. I have 2 Gigabyte RAM and I still get lags sometimes after playing for some hours. Only saving and restarting the game helps.
Recent lagging might have other problems though. A new Anti Virus software maybe ? A Defragmentation of your Harddisc may help to.
