| Every new graphics card series are released 6 months after the previous series (especially when it comes to the high-end ones). Why do we have different types of graphics cards (high, mid and low end) under a particular series? Because there are people out there who can't afford the high-end ones or those who just want to play games, not to enjoy the beautiful scenery (there are a plethora of reasons).
The only way these graphic card manufacturers are going is up. No backtracking or sidetracking. Technology improvements, better game support, the reason Hooded Rogue mention and many other reasons why they want to stay on top of their game. Nothing we can do, since that's the only way they're going.
