Lets put is this way with wow's patching from 2.0 foward has alot of people in an uproar alot have been leaving since alot of the classes are being nerfed (non playable) an example would be alot of the (mage/warlock) are mainly too over powered like considering some of my friends on wow can flat out take down a 12k hp paladin in about 2-3 shots because pala's were nerfed along way back since only healing an holy are worth playing retro is too nerfed. Anyway it's only getting worse it seems to me an alot of other people liked it when the game was still running in pre-expan 2.0 the game was alot more fun they removed the ranking system from pvp so now pvp is just like earning money in the game, as well as alot of other things like enchanting since when you hit level 70 now alot of the good enchantments in that past that you had too pay out 200-300 gold there effects have been reduced there are some people that have just been hitting level 69 an holding off by making new characters in the long run you can look at it this way.

Some people can play in moderation like only 2-3 hours a day while others play for 15-24 hours a day. I have a friend whos been out of work for 4 months playing this game non stop an doing nothing else but eat, sleep, and drink wow. For me I spent roughly $105.00 getting everything needed to play World of Warcraft best thing to do is get a 10-day trial an see what you think though you can only goto Lv. 20, can't trade, use ah (auction house), use mailing system, and can only have 10 gold max. If you know where to train at you can get too Lv. 20 in 1 day or less, Lv. 40 in about 2-3 Days, and Lv. 60 in about 4-5 days time then Lv. 70 if you have expan in another 2 days time. This is if you played 8-15 hours a day at least 1 Game Day is about 5 RL days so it'd take you a few months to get to Lv. 60 where as some people it takes 15 to 30 Game Days.

It's up too you what you want too do but personlly to me it's not worth it.
