| I take neither. Cassidy's too weak (even without that damn stat reset bug) and Marcus is too slow. Since I have an advanced powerfist and a souped up gauss pistol, I get into the thick of it really quickly. It works at first, having teammates.
But in later levels, Cassidy just gets his ass reduced to a pile of red goop with two, maybe three shots. And Marcus...either he shoots me in the back with a critical with the burst mode, or when not in burst mode, runs around trying to punch him with his slow but steady (not to mention completely irregular) pace.
Once you get gauss weaponry and a nice set of armour, forget about any teammates.
