Well, I've been messing with enchantment ideas.
I have to go with a CE.
I tried using those thst would need to be cast like a spell, but my manual dexterity issue caused me to take "a bit more damage" than usual.

On CE Reflect, best I could do was 7pts ... 1pt per article
Don't like 93% getting through to me :-(

I don't put on the "afterburners" much, as the game goes too fast, so fatigure won't work.

As it is, I'm using up my magicka and then wakizashi-ing(... have 30pts Absorb Health on it) them to death.
Seems, if I rush them, run in a zig-zag pattern, I might take 1-2 spells before I get to them ... then I can melee them .. or sometimes they come to me when they run out of magicka

So, it looks like..........>
1) CE Fortify Intelligence ... just hope my spells don't get nullified in mid-flight :-)
2) CE Fortify Speed ... faster I swing my wakizashi, the more hits
3) CE Fortify Agility ... better % of hitting + them missing
4) CE Fortify Speed + Agility

To bad I can't take a poll :-)
Leaning towards CE Intelligence. Since this is a Breton-Mage-Apprentice build/character. Save the speed or speed/agility for me next character.

Guess I can't complain, as I'm beating Golden Saints/Ascended Sleepers ... but it's the sword that's making the difference
Not sure what Tribunial and Bloodmoon have in store :-)
Have so many exquisite clothes + gems, I can experiment and change if needed.
Just found 4 more Grand Soul gems last night ... luckily the game is being kind to me :-)

Anyone know the "math" on speed points added .. how much faster I would swing ... Or agility; the % increases in hitting + them missing
If I could factor the points added vs the increase in these categories, I might get a better idea of where to put them.
Used the "swing fast/hit more + steal health" in previous RPG-character-builds ... works with my " less precise gameplay style".
Don't want to go this route, unless my spellcasting doesn't work.
Keeping my options open while I have the clothes + gems :-)

Thanks for the help + tips !
