Because Revan is sorta mystery to people and he's just Freakin' Awsome!
and about his clothes what if he came back in his old clothes (Darth Revan clothes but he's either light or dark clothes don't matter to your allignment)

I was looking on the internet and I found the top 25 strongest Jedi and Sith and Darth Revan was at #9 on the list but on the sith or Jedi side the Exile wasn't on it. And also Kriea probably never was in a full fledged battle against Revan.....

the characters I want are basically all of them from the two previous games mixed together you already have T3,Canderous/Mandalore,and HK-47 so just pick a few from the others like 3 from Kotor and 3 from Kotor II plus more characters.
and what ever happend to Jolee,Juhani,Zaalbar,and Mission they don't explain it in Kotor II or did I just miss it?
