| It is April 2007 and for me VTMR is still the best game I've ever played... I love RPG games and try to play them as much as the job and family permit, but since VTMR I just didn't come across the game that would glue me to the chair day and night... I didn't like Bloodlines that much, and I think that all of other RPGs I have played since (currently I'm playing Neverwinter nights 2) missed something very important - atmosphere... VTMR had atmosphere that reallly immersed me into the world of darkness, and I just love what Kevin Manthel did with the music score... Also, I really liked the story because it wasn't same old "the great evil emerged and you are the only one that can save the world" stuff, but it was rather a love story and all that Christof wanted was not to save the world, but to save his love. So it's kind of easier to get into Christoph's skin... In fact, the day before yesterday I installed the game again (3rd time) and I am enjoying it thoroughly... Yes, of course the game has its flaws and weaknesses, but what game doesn't have them? I simply choose that the flaws don't bother me and I enjoy the world of darkness that VTMR introduced me to... |
