| I am not sure. I've seen it done in the other games and I am not impressed. Logically, the dog should be killed by the monsters right away, unless you want it to be designed as "impossible to kill" (sort of knocked out temporarily), which is cheesy.
The "spying dog" would eliminate any sense of surprise and challenge (not that Fable has ever had any).
