| As I mentioned above, there are mods out there. I googled and found several sites with them. But plenty? Not by a long stretch. Arcanum's overbusy interface was a bit of a drag to some players, and the environment didn't please the fantasy or the sci-fi crowd. A more serious objection was the inability to really control a party in detail during combat, which meant allowing the awful AI to take over.
Several good mods were made, some of them fairly extensive. But mods tend to follow games that grasp the imagination of plenty of adult players, in addition to having the right tools: BG2 and Morrowind being excellent examples. For whatever reason, Arcanum just didn't get there.
