If I'm not mistaken, you have studied some Swedish. So I don't really see a reason why you are speechless, after all, the difference between written Swedish, Norwegian and Danish is not all that great. Actually I think that it is the spoken language that might cause some trouble in understanding one another. Well... I am not so sure about Danish.
