my Fallout 1 works like a charm, Arcanum had a bit of some difficulty, but it actually loaded when i put the disc in for the 30th time (scared the bananas out of me, don't ask how i did it, lol) and my friend's burnt System Shock 2 worked...but i guess it narrows it down, the CD has gone to heaven, any ways i could fix this without spending a fortune on fixing the CD, this game brings back memories and i miss it dearly...yes, i am passionate about Fallout 2...
but still, any ideas/theories
