| My suggestion would be to use a CD copier program to drastically slowdown the read rate of your CD drive. This should increase the chances of getting a good read, if that's still possible; then copy the file to another CD, or onto your hard drive. I've used it myself, successfully. Try it a few times, if it doesn't work the first time.
