| Love the film Aliens, first was great as well, not too big on the others.
Think the first post was right - we could use a good sci-fi RPG nowadays, doesn't have to be based on any film or IP.
Anyways, I agree that an RPG hit point style system might not transfer so well to the Alien/horror genre - you get raked by an Alien, so what, you've got more hit points.
I think to balance action with horror they need to take a note from the first two films - Aliens are almost unstoppable close in, at range they're cannon fodder. |
