As DW said, Dragon Age looks good on paper. Bioware also have a reputation. They have done some great RPGs in the past. I am pretty sure when you hear that your favorite music band is in the studio doing a new album you are looking forward to it, even though you have not heard any single, because you are confident that they will do something that will please you. For my part, I feel something similar with Dragon Age.
