Actually, I've noticed it as well. It only appears to be certain characters that are shifting, and even then it's only sometimes (at least on my screen). For example, in
this news item, the eToychest quote displays two characters and a trademark sign wherever an apostrophe would appear. However, the quotes below it from Eurogamer and GameSpot include apostrophes that appear just fine to me. Bullet points in press releases seem to be an issue as well, but, again, only sometimes.
To be honest, I don't know what's causing it. Our news script has not changed whatsoever in 2 years, so I think it might be a server-side problem or possibly a browser issue. Is anyone NOT experiencing this issue (such as in the thread above)? If you're experiencing the same problem, do you have any idea when it started? I've only noticed it for a week or two, tops.
