I have almost made up my mind that will keep a 4 chars party till the Drow Catacombs and meeting Faeril (so that xp points are divided for a lesser number and they can grow up quicke).

In the novel Emmeric dies before Athan is rescued. Kestrel has an angry conversation later with Corran - as it was Corrans lack of intuitive leadership that probably lead to Emmerics death.
