Several long moments passed; finally Imoen stirred and tried to sit up. The two elvish women reached out to steady her, but were met with a low scream of fear and an intake of breath. "It's okay Immy... You are with friends now, he can't hurt you anymore," Kilyannamaia whispered. Imoen slumped, her once mischievous expression had been replaced by one of bleak emptiness; her voice hollow, she only said, "I just want to go home, I want to get out of here."
"We're working on it, Sis. Can you walk, or should we ask Minsc to carry you?"
"Minsc will carry little Imoen for as long as she wants him to!"
Kilyannamaia glanced uneasily at Jaheira, uncertain at how Imoen would react to the giant ranger's attentions. They need not have worried; the ghost of a smile appeared in Imoen's eyes, and it was obvious Imoen could not possibly fear the earnest, and almost childlike, concern Minsc exhibited.
"Okay, let's go then," gestured Kilyannamaia.
During his search for a key to Imoen's cage Minsc had uncovered a stash of assorted armour and weaponry. Kilyannamaia looked over the rather basic equipment Minsc showed them and sighed. "It's not our gear. That was probably sold, so this will have to do."
The party donned the ill-fitting equipment and cautiously moved toward a dim corridor to the west.
