| You can pick up a lot of loot if you orchestrate a gang war in the Alley of Dangerous Angles. Bribe one of the gangs but refuse to pay the other. When the angry gang attacks you, run to the other gang's territory. They will kill each other while you wait safely out of the way. When one side is victorious and the others are dead, pick up the loot that's on the ground. If you leave the area and come back, you can repeat the process. You can repeat this for as long as you like (or until you have way too much loot to carry) as long as neither of the gang leaders is killed. Apparently, there's an endless supply of gang members. It's actually a lot of fun if you're not in a big hurry.
When you sell items to a merchant, he or she will pay you more if you're selling an item that he or she does not already have in stock. Therefore, it's best to choose a merchant who doesn't already have the item you want to sell, and it's best to sell as many items of one type as you can in one shot. For example, if a merchant doesn't have any silver rings, sell him or her 20 from one character's inventory to get top dollar.  |
