| Vampires in Golconda are not "Cured" exactly, no. It's a metal state... The vampire requires blood far far less and is no longer ruled by it's beast. It's desires and instincts become more normal and human and it's urges far less sinister and twisted... However:
The vampire still needs to drink blood, estimated at about once a month in the book. The vampire still bursts into flames on contact with the sun, still lives forever, is still quite dead and subject to all the issues of being dead (Cold, no heart beat, no blinking or breathing... Thou these take but a thought to control for a vampire whos humanity is 8 or over) and so on and so forth. White Wolf, as they do with most things, have never put an honest "Yes or No" to the question of a cure, but they have said this on more then one ocassion. 99.9% of cures you could come up with for Vamperism in your game (IE: Mage undoes the effects. Werewolf cleanses you. Fae embuses you with glamour and brings your body back to life) result in a horrid, destructive frenzy and, if they contiue, ultimate final death... If your frenzy didn't kill the person trying to snuff out your unlife. Turns out the Beast takes unkindly to people trying to rip it out of it's host body.
