| 60's- Creedence Clearwater Revival...ok, so they barely made it, but they hit with three almuns in '69 so that fits. Rolling Stones would be the other band from this era, and I'm tempted to put Bobby Fuller Four on the list simply because they never got a chance to do anything after "I Fought the Law".
70- Judas Priest. Zepplin and Sabbath can be mentioned, but Priest is my band.
80's- Motley Crue, Metallica, Megadeth, and Great White. I know it's an odd mix.
90's- Cry of Love, Black Crowes, Alice in Chains
