| You can't keep your money because they use a different currency in the modern times, you can't keep blood containers either. If you have magical bracelets or necklaces etc. then they carry over, but are scattered around the first level of the Society of Leopold. The same applies to magical weapons etc.
Personally I don't think its worth redoing the beginning as there are plenty of items in modern times that you can find/buy. The only reason I would redo the start is if I wanted to change how I spent my experience points and so on.
