| I have a 50 elementalist atm. I use ice shards full tree, lighting bolt and chain (with not many points atm) volcanic orb only with conflagration thunderball with concussive blast and eruption. It works really nice and if u are a bit smart u can stun lock your enemies and before they arrive they are dead. I also use stone form combined with eruption is devastating. The biggest problem u'll have with elementalist is that u don't overkill as spirit builds so u have to have more survival habilities. In legendary 3 arrows and u are dead. An option is using core dweller (one of the best pets imo) but developing it eats a lot of points u are loosing in dmg. Anyway if it helps my build atm looks like that:
Storm (lvl32):
Ice shard ---------> Full Tree
Thunderball -------> 1 (just need it for concusive blast and the stun)
Concussive blast --> 8
Lighting Bolt ------> 1
Chain lighting -----> 12
Storm wisp -------> 1
Eye of Storm -----> 8
Squall ------------> 11
Earth (lvl32):
Volcanic Orb ----> 1
Fragmentation --> 12
Eruption --------> 12
Stone Form -----> 1
Believe me, stun locking with this build is viable. start with volcanic orb, chain lighting, ice shards and when they start coming thunderball, ice shards again when they come again volcanic orb once again (that spell has an insane recharge). When things don't go well or mobs have tones of life u just have too low their life the eruption then stone form. That last works nice. The biggest problem i found in the elementalist are that archers in legendary desintegrate u and that u die too fast with the special mobs. Using core dweller is a good option but with ice shards u get the aggro too quick. Another build i tried is rellying on the core dweller as a tank and using powerfull spells with some cooldown to beat mobs. Anyway the class is fun for sure. And the core dweller build will sure work better with nature ^^
