By defintion cheating means to cause harm/loss to someone else.  | By definition, cheating in a singleplayer game is doing something with the code unintended for players by the developers, providing players with unexpected benefits. This is a cheat; simple as that.
But who cares? As long as you don't go around bragging about accomplishing something others did the regular way, you can play the game in any fashion you want. You bought it, it's yours.
