Hey everyone, I bought Titan Quest roughly about three weeks ago and I was amazed with the game, minus the few bugs here and there. There is one thing that really bugs the crap out of me about games like this. There is always a cheat or character editor of some sort that comes out. And what makes it so bad is that you can even use it in multiplayer. That basically makes items useless and priceless, and in turn, makes playing the game pointless. I admit it, if there is a character editor for single player I usually download it and try out some character builds at higher levels with equipment that I can try to find later in the game by farming, but the ability of using these editors for multiplayer is just going too far. Playing online and seeing these godly characters that kill Typhon in one hit and take hit after hit without loosing any health, has basically ruined the game all in all. About the only items that are worth anything now are the green and yellow items that are considered godly, but whats the point if you can make a godly character that can run thru legendary to typhon completely naked and one "punch" kill typhon? I feel as if I have wasted my money on a game that could have been really good. There are some mods out there that are very usefull like the TQ Vault, but the editor is just ridiculous. This just a cry out to the moderators and maybe some of the developing team if they ever look at this forum- Patch the game so that you play with characters that aren't locally stored please. There is another big game that did this and I know everyone here has at least heard of it or played it until their eyeballs popped out of their head like I did, and that game is very successful and still sells today. I would really like to see Titan Quest do the same. If you can't manage to do this in a patch of some sort, can you promise us a full blown expansion that would also take care of this problem? As for now my Titan Quest has been set on the shelf and is very close to getting promoted to the rank of cup coaster. Does anyone out there feel the same way I do? Feel different? I notice there isn't much activity on this forum, so if you are out there, please speak up and give your opinion please. Maybe we can all get something done about the potential falldown of Titan Quest. Thanks for your time that you took to read this post. later.
