| 1) Morrowind - I fell in love with this game the first time I played it, and have continued to enjoy it ever since. Its scenary is breath taking, its non-linearity a tremendous boon, and the quite stunning work of its modding comunity, ensures that the game is never stale.
2) Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn - a great game, made by the interaction between the player and the party. It might have been my number one were it not for certain reservations I have with certain plot elements/decisions.
3) Icewind Dale II - Far less involved than the other two, which is perhaps the reason why I quite like. Its something I can just pick-up and put-down and not think about too much. That and the those weid and wonderful 3rd edition rules that me play a drow druid/bard. |
