| Regarding class-related strongholds in BG2...
For multi-class fighter PCs, there's a way to get both the fighter stronghold as well as the stronghold for your other class without mods (I think). Fighter multi-classes only.
Do a search at the BG2 forums for details, how to pull it off, if it can be done in a patched game, etc.
