Spoilers, please highlight: My memory is slightly hazy but I remember reading a game guide that choosing the, "I love you," conversation option will cut down significantly on the length of the conversation. As for me, as usual, I followed the walkthrough step-by-step and that includes the conversation options as well (well, not everything but only in the most dire of situations).
