| I've noticed that it's almost always when someone is using a GeForce6xxx card. I have the same problem.
I have had some luck with changing the sound settings: forcing software and deselecting the Enable EAX option.
You may find it helps if your character faces certain directions. Try turning on the spot, find which direction your turning with the best framerate, then make sure you stay facing that way as you move (use the Z and C keys to move left and right). Note that the best direction to face differs in different parts of the map.
If your character becomes 'stuck in place' after a low framerate, teleporting to the Ebon Hawk and back will often fix it. |
