Just Another Storyline You guys are going to shoot it down, but this is just something I came up in my spare time... Coming Soon! The New Jedi Powers and more!!
STAR WARS Knights of the Old Republic: Redemption.
Revan has left known space, and the Exile has followed Revan’s path. Now, you must find them and convince them to return to form a New Jedi Order.
You have a team of Jedi, trained by the Exile:
Atton Rand, Jedi Sentinel
Mical, the Disciple, Jedi Consular
Mira, Jedi Sentinel/ former bounty hunter
Brianna the Last Handmaiden, Jedi guardian
As well as Revan’s old team, together again for one last fight:
Canderous Ordo/ Mandalore, a hearty soldier
Carth Onasi, Admiral of the Republic
Bastila Shan, Jedi Sentinel
Zaalbar, Revan’s faithful Wookie friend
Together with HK-47, assassin droid extraordinaire, you must battle an unstoppable force of Sith war droids, soldiers, starships, and Dark Jedi. To find Revan and the Exile, you must defeat them. To defeat the Sith once and for all, you must learn trust, companionship, and faith in one another……
In this episode, the battle opens like the original did: You’re on the starship Sovereign, Carth Onasi’s flagship, and you’re being attacked by Sith. You wake up to find you and Canderous locked in a jail cell, badly wounded. Canderous’s wounds look terrible, and he’s unconscious. As you journey through the ship, you find an old friend. Mical apparently recognizes you and begs you to help. The Dark Jedi have Admiral Onasi locked up on the bridge. You have to get to him.
After rescuing Onasi, he lets you in on a secret: You’re a prisoner, who was found at the decimated Mandalorian camp on Dxun, half dead. “Mandalore” is the other survivor, but you later learn that six of your Mandalorian comrades survived and are being held on board. He mentions that you’re not a Mandalorian, however, that your paperwork indicates you were staying at the camp when it was suddenly attacked, killing almost everyone. Onasi says you were en route from the edge of known space, the planet Malachor V, where Revan and the Exile were last seen. Suddenly you have a flashback, and you remember that you are a Jedi, one of Revan’s top generals, and a close friend of the Exile. Suddenly the astromech droid (T3M4) seizes up and shows you a hologram of Revan, begging for help.
The Split Level Playing
Although you got a taste of this in Kotor II, this is even better. Welcome back, Revan old buddy old pal. That’s right. You get to play as Revan fighting wave after wave after wave of New Sith warriors, and right beside you is your old friend the Exile, and T3-M4. This is not for the cheerful of heart. Right after you rescue Carth Onasi from the bridge of his ship, you flip to Revan, tossing and turning in a dream in which Carth/Bastila speaks to you lines from Kotor. You wake up in an old Dark Jedi palace, and after exploring it you notice that your only companions are droids. You don’t remember exactly how you got here, and your droid companion 09-LP informs you that the Ebon Hawk is coming in for a landing. After catching up on galactic events with the Exile, you decide to journey outside, where you are ambushed immediately by Jedi. Dark, sinister Jedi. This place is even more depressing than Malachor.
Back to your character: You soon discover that you were the Exile’s rival in Revan’s army; a commanding genius that sought Revan’s favor. When Revan and her troops turned to the Dark Side, you refused, and hid on the edge of known space for years. For some reason, Carth Onasi summoned you to trace Revan’s whereabouts; you were on your way when everything suddenly went black. The last thing you see is a childhood memory: You are just a baby, being taken from your mother to join the Jedi, and your twin is beside you……
The creepiest part is, the Disciple already knows all this. He shows you your holograms from the Old Jedi Academy, when you were an apprentice. Apparently, you were as closely watched as Revan, considered to have great potential, far beyond any expectations of the other apprentices. The Disciple has an apprentice also, a girl named Kaevee, (cut from the second game) who describes how you were her hero, and when she was very little she admired all the older students, including Revan, the Exile…. But most of all, she admired you.
The Disciple, it seems, has formed a new Jedi Council with redeemed Master Atris (if she was spared by Exile) to replace the one destroyed by Darth Traya. He, apparently, believes that you are more important than Revan or the Exile, simply because you refused the Dark Side, and they did not. Although you can try to explain at many points throughout the game that you are a deserter, a Hermit Jedi, too cowardly to face Revan and stop the darkness that ensued, he still believes you are the key to leading the New Jedi into the Unknown Regions, to stop a Sith power more strange and mysterious than ever before…..and also more deadly.
You escape on a tiny freighter docked on the Sovereign, much to the Admiral’s displeasure. You have no choice but to run to Dantooine, where you will be protected by the Jedi. On Dantooine, you meet Kaevee/Handmaiden, Mira, Visas/Atton, and/or Bastila.
What’s NEW:
In the first part of the game, you must decide:
• Did Revan turn out light or dark-sided against Malak?
• Was Revan male or female? (Corresponding dialogue with Carth/ Bastila)
• Did the Exile turn out light or dark-sided?
• Was the Exile male or female? (Corresponding dialogue with Atton/Disciple)
• Who was the Exile’s love interest? (Disciple/Atton, Handmaiden: you have no choice here)
A few helpful hints:
Your party members will be significantly influenced by your decisions above. If Revan was dark-sided, you won’t get Carth, as he ran off in the first game when Revan announced that he/she had turned to the Dark Side. If the Exile was dark-sided, you don’t get Mira. Which sucks, because instead you get Hanharr, who is the most annoying Wookie ever. He initially tries to kill you, but Zaalbar steps in and kicks Hanharr’s butt. You will eventually have to decide between these two, so be prepared.
Two people to NOT kill: Handmaiden and Kaevee. You get Handmaiden only if you put Exile as male, and since the Disciple went with the female Exile, you only get Kaevee, his sort-of apprentice, if you put the Exile as female. These two are extremely powerful, and if you have enough influence with Kaevee, you can train her in special combat moves, and she becomes very close with you.
So here’s the rundown:
