Yeah. Pity Ion Storm was forced to closed down. According to an
article in Gamespot, Eidos was undergoing financial troubles and have to consolidate Ion Storm with another company in order to make two different studios into one. Hence, the closure of Ion Storm (Almost reminded me of what EA did to Westwood Studios in an article in PC Gamer).
As for who will develop the new Thief series, I was probably thinking of Ubisoft Montreal or some other developer but since the title rights belong to Eidos, I had to think of developers who usually use Eidos as their publisher for their games. That one will be Crystal Dynamics. Pretty good developer I might add. Made some great games like Project Snowblind and managed to revive the flagging Tomb Raider series with Tomb Raider: Legends.
EDIT: Have to do some corrections as I've posted some wrong information as to the reason behind Ion Storm's closure.
