Yes, isn't the new persons different views on things that constitute the dynamics of SYM as well as any human groups? Besides, very little has ever been posted at SYM that requires some kind of factual background. Most of it is just spam that people wrote for fun. It's not exactly an hermeneutic bible interpretation we are talking about here.

With respect many members have tried very hard to welcome new members and seeing as you say yourself that you don't read many spam threads you may easily miss details integral to a poster's character online. Thus, you may not really understand the cause of our behaviour and simply misinterpret it.

That's the reason I wrote "I think the comments in this thread gives the impression of a really bad attitude towards new members in general. Whatever has occurred between Damuna and other users in other spam threads, is no excuse to post sarcasms and invectives. If a new user reads this thread without it is certainly not for sure that this person has read the previous spam either. If there are reasons for suspicion towards a member, or if another member has behaved badly towards you, it is a moderator issue and it should be reported to moderators. It is not a reason for sarcasm and flaming.
