| you don't upgrade them, you create an new, more powerful one. For example, if you meet hte pre-requisites for an expert fencing emitter, as long as you have enough parts (get these by breaking other items down) then you just click on it to make it then go to the upgrade screen and place the new emitter in your lightsaber.
It's definately better to make them in my opinion - I break down a lot more items than I sell as the items you can make on the workbench are a lot better than the ones you can buy (if you have enough skills) |
