I agree. It is a nice editor. I used it in the Trial of the Elders and started out with something small, upgrading my chainmail to demon mail and an xp boost.
As to the bugs that I've seen. I tried adding spells but it didn't work. It seems to randomly add points to my skills and I'm missing equipment also.
The first time I used the editor, it bumped my Medium Weapons from 5 to 22 and my Archery went up to an 8 but my Galdryn's Horn and Devil Dust disappeared. I went back in later because I needed the dust and it figured it was too far to go back so I readded the Horn and the dust but my Medium Weapons changed to 17. I've since completed the Battlemage and Paladin quests but when I got back to Arindale, my Inn key was gone. I went back in for that and my Demon mail and Elven Spirit Bow disappeared, hehe.
I can see it in the editor. On the items page, I have my list of equipment then two blank lines and then a final piece of equipment... and it seems stable too. I resaved in another spot, loaded that save game into the editor and the same two lines (my mail and bow) were blank.
