| To your first question, I believe the answer is no; the only way of getting numerical values is the one you described. A rough check can be done by comparing their alignment to yours (providing you have a clear alignment, of course); the closer theirs is to yours, the more INF you have.
To the second one, you need to go to your journal, choose 'Messages Log and then choose 'Feedback'. You'll see something like [Name] rolled [number] versus [number], the latter number being the numerical value of the lock or mine. |
