| How about different floors in the same map area then? Every map in K1-K2 was very...linear. There might be a change in elevation, but to get to a different floor you had to load to a different area. Plenty of RPG games have multiple floors in one area. Again, it's a small thing really, but it adds to the realism of the game.
EDIT: I suppose there was one map in K2 that was all right. It was in Peragus near the end right after you and Atton find T3 dumped in a shaft. That one kind of had multiple floors, but they didn't overlap.
