I realise this is after the fact, but
Being able to nail enemies from afar is very nice indeed, so marksman can be a valuable skill

(clearly though, it is personal preference

Armorer makes complete sense for the kind of character Siberys has created, especially from a role playing perspective, but (from a strictly personal view) I'd never replace marksman with either block or armorer.
It is far easier, and usually lighter, to simply bring a spare weapon along, because armorer hammers are heavy, and until you are really skilled at repairing your equipment, you'll go through
a lot of hammers just to fix one weapon. Further, once you acquire the cash and necessary items, you can just have a ring enchanted, at constant effect, with some bound weapon and/or armor spells.
Regarding block: Beyond the fact that it is only really effective at higher levels, there are so many excellent two-handed weapons out there that using it is very nearly a handicap. Again though, it's all subjective.
