I played it yesterday for a couple of hours. I haven't expected much and got even less. I forced myself through the first five quests and suddenly really found myself being immersed slightly for a second or so. Hunting for loot *can* be immersive. But when I noticed that my inventory was full of darn good items and that I had about 20000 gold I realized that this was heading nowhere (remember, I just finished five quests - mostly subquests). Too easy, too uncreative. The quests are pathetic, the dialogs just laughable. They call it action-RPG, but I totally missed the RPG-part. Fortunately I haven't bought it (as I initially intended). My sister got it from a friend...and somehow seems to like it pretty much. I should tie her to a chair and force her to play Planescape: Torment or Fallout for a while. That should cure her.
