However you feel about any combat system though, an argument about this takes away from what our real concerns should be for this or any other game.
The STORY is what makes any rpg great or lame, particularly a SW rpg. Another rushed storyline would make Kotor look like, The Matrix, of the rpg world.
I have to disagree with your statement that Fable is one of the best RPGs out there. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything great either (actually, I was quite disappointed with the a lot of it). Action RPGs are all fine and good (well some of them) but a lot of times they just turn into hack and slash games with slightly more involved plots (which is about all I got out of Fable).

People can say what they want about the turnbased system being outdated, but that doesn't seem to keep games like Final Fantasy (pick a number) from being the best RPG series out there, nor has it hurt DragonQuest VIII, or any other turnbased game. A lot of people simply enjoy the games were they can take their time and pick their moves much more, and wouldn't bother picking it up if it were an 'action' RPG. Besides it's not like Kotor makes you wait patiently for the bad guys to attack and then lets you sit around and slowly mull over your options.

I will agree that it is the story that makes the RPG, so whatever they decide to do, hopefully they'll take a bit more time with it than they did with Kotor II.
