Not so much going away as staying behind... I've been volunteered to guarantee some permanency at the office here, during the holiday period while my colleagues return to Europe to their family. The fate of the single in a group of people "married with children".
Well, I'm used to it now, I think I spend only half of my Christmasses & New Years over the past ten years with family and/or friends. But be merry and happy anyway.
